Why I’m building MadeSure AI.

Hi, I’m 23 and currently finishing my master’s degree. I don’t come from sourcing or procurement. I came to this problem as a heavy user of AI—and as the son of someone who has worked in this industry for more than 20 years.

Through conversations with my dad and his friends—who are procurement experts—and through my own research online, I began to understand how difficult it can be to form a reliable view of a Chinese supplier before making a commitment.

The relevant information is often scattered. A company may present itself one way on an international platform and appear differently elsewhere. Its role as a manufacturer or trading company may be unclear. Public reviews, disputes, and other details can be easy to miss when they are spread across different sources and languages.

No single detail should decide whether a supplier is trustworthy. But putting the available information together can make the picture clearer and show where a buyer should look more closely.

That is the role I want MadeSure AI to play. With guidance from my father and his procurement-expert friends, I am building a practical tool that gathers fragmented public information, connects relevant signals, and helps buyers start their research with more context.

MadeSure AI is designed to make the first stage of supplier research faster and more affordable. It brings together signals from a broad range of public sources and uses AI to organize and compare them—helping buyers assess whether a company is more likely a manufacturer or a trading company, spot inconsistencies, and understand how it appears in its domestic market as well as abroad.

It is not meant to replace the people who know this industry. Direct communication, careful investigation, trusted relationships, and factory visits remain essential. The goal is to give buyers and procurement professionals a clearer starting point, so they can spend less time gathering basic information and focus their expertise where it matters most.
