Refund Policy
How cancellations, report issues, and refund requests work for MadeSure purchases.
1. Overview
This policy explains how cancellations, report problems, and refund requests are handled for MadeSure purchases. Paddle is our merchant of record and processes checkout, payment, tax, subscriptions, and approved refunds.
2. Single Reports
- A single report that has not started generating is eligible for a full refund.
- If a report fails to generate, identifies the wrong company, or contains a confirmed material error, we will provide a replacement report or approve a full refund.
- A report that has been generated correctly and delivered is not eligible for an unconditional change-of-mind refund.
3. Monthly and Annual Plans
You may cancel a recurring plan at any time to stop its next renewal. Cancellation alone does not refund the current paid period.
If an early plan refund is approved, successfully generated reports are charged at the current single-report list price, presently $3.99 per report:
Maximum refund = amount paid − (successfully generated reports × $3.99)
- Reports that failed and had their usage restored are not counted.
- The refund amount cannot be less than $0.
- Any unused reports included in the refunded plan expire once the refund is approved.
For example, if a $399 annual plan has produced 3 successful reports, the maximum refund under this calculation is $387.03.
4. Reporting a Problem
Use Report an issue beside the relevant report in your account or on the report progress page. Please identify the report and explain the generation failure, incorrect company match, or material error.
Submitting an issue does not automatically approve a refund. We may ask for supporting information and will review the report and available evidence before deciding whether a replacement or refund is appropriate.
5. Refund Review and Processing
Approved refunds are returned through Paddle to the original payment method. Processing time may depend on Paddle, the payment provider, and your bank. Paddle may approve a full or partial refund, request more information, or decline a request in accordance with its buyer terms, refund policy, and applicable law.
6. Consumer Rights
This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law. Where those rights differ from this policy, the legally required terms apply.
