Why I’m building MadeSure AI.

I first began thinking seriously about supplier verification during an internship in supply chain and procurement. In conversations with my mentor and with clients evaluating suppliers, I kept hearing a similar question: how can we form a reliable first view of a company before committing time, money, or reputation to a new relationship?

The challenge was rarely that information did not exist. It was scattered across business registries, supplier platforms, company websites, trade records, local-market sources, and customer-facing materials. A supplier might describe itself as a manufacturer in one place and as a trading company somewhere else. A polished profile might tell only part of the story. When different sources were written in different languages or referred to related legal entities, even experienced teams had to spend significant time piecing the picture together.

My internship showed me that supplier research is not simply a search problem. It is a comparison and judgment problem. Buyers need to understand which facts are supported, which claims require clarification, and what should be verified next.

That was where I began to see a practical role for AI—not as a replacement for professional diligence, but as a way to make the first stage of research faster, more structured, and easier to review.

With guidance from my mentor and input from people working directly with suppliers and procurement decisions, I began building MadeSure AI. The platform brings together relevant public signals and organizes them around practical sourcing questions, helping buyers examine company identity, business role, operating footprint, product focus, market presence, and potential inconsistencies before moving deeper into the process.

MadeSure AI is not designed to replace conversations, samples, inspections, factory visits, or trusted relationships. Those remain essential. Our goal is to give buyers a clearer starting point—so they can ask better questions, focus their diligence, and make decisions with more context.

I am building MadeSure AI because supplier research should be rigorous without being unnecessarily opaque or time-consuming. I hope it helps buyers and procurement teams move from scattered information to a more informed next step.
